For
my College Magazine cover and contents, I am going to need to understand
Photoshop.
Sometimes
the best way to understand something is to play around with it.
And
that is exactly what I did!
My starting image was one of the photos I was
considering using for my front cover.
I played around with the colour levels by adjusting
the colours via the big colour box on the right hand side.
It helped me to understand what the core colours of the image were and what colours would and would not go with it.
I then decided to morph the image into something quite
peculiar. By using the ‘Pinch’ effect, I achieved this.
This might not be what I am looking for but who knows what project I might work on in the future?
Now
this one is rather creepy. I used the 'Lasso' tool to remove my model's eyes. I
drew around the iris and then I pressed 'Delete'.
Below is the result. Maybe for a halloween magazine, this could be suitable!
Finally, I found out what my favourite effect was. I really went to town with this one. 'Paint' allowed the most manipulation of the image and I felt I had a lot of control when using it. In small usage, I think this could be effective compared to the extreme way I have used this.
